Scottish terrier. And as someone said, if you never had a dog or a terrier before, you have to do a lot of research before buying one of these types. You can also stubborn and a lot of energy than any other terrier, in addition to the search engines, which can be very bad. They require little energy for their size, and may also have slightly higher prey for animals such as cats and squirrels, or at least have the owners of this breed with this issue before unknown. Not for the inexperienced owner. Just a lil food for thought. Make no mistake, they are a great race, but first you need to research if you have never had one or any kind of terrier before. He was a Scottish terrier.
Do your research before buying this book. They are sweet puppies, but to dig a stance. This is a big dog in a small package. They have a lot of energy, and tend to develop unpleasant and destructive behavior when they are bored or when they need exercise are not met.
Scottish Terrier .... tough-minded dog. Not for the first owner of the dog or a shy person.
